Featured Project
Located beside a tidal creek on an island just off the coast of Maine, this new house replaces a dilapidated seasonal waterfront cottage and becomes it's owners' year round home. Being situated almost on the water presented a number of challenges, including meeting Maine's strict shoreland law and gaining local Planning Board approval. The new home respects its context, enhances views of Chauncey Creek, with its ever changing light & its abundant wildlife, while creating opportunities for the owners to indulge in their dual passions for gardening & entertaining family.
